5 Reasons Christians and Muslims Do NOT Serve the Same God

5 Reasons Christians and Muslims Do NOT Serve the Same God

By Zealous Saints

With Islamic terrorism on the forefront of the news and dinner conversations, discussion has been sparked about the differences and similarities of the God of the Bible and Allah of the Muslim faith. Some people strongly argue that Christians and Muslims serve the same God. This debate has peaked following the suspension of the political science professor at a Christian college, Larycia Hawkins. Hawkins decided to wear a hijab (traditional headpiece worn by Muslim women) as a show of solidarity. But it was her comments posted on her Facebook page that earned her suspension as she suggested that Christians and Muslims serve the same God. This sparked a large number of outrage and support at the college where she works.

Is her statement credible and accurate? The argument stems from the idea that, historically, the God of the Jews, Christians, and Muslims started out as the same sole God and Creator of the Universe. However, somewhere along the line, there was clearly a separation as the God of the Bible is clearly not the same god of the Quran. Here are 7 reasons Christians and Muslims do NOT serve the same God.

The Quran Denies the Deity of Christ

The Quran states, "Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity"" desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs." (4:171,Yusif Ali)

The Holy Bible of the Christian faith clearly speaks to the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God and the Savior of the World. Jesus says in John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" and in John 10:30, "I and my Father are one." There are countless versus that confirm that Jesus is Lord and one with the Father. Jesus is the second person of the Trinity, which the Quran also speaks against. The miracles of Jesus also proves His deity and authority. How can the God of the Bible and Allah be the same deity if there are clearly doctrinal differences between the two.

The Quran Denies the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ

The Quran clearly denies the crucifixion of Jesus Christ as it states, "That they said (in boast), 'We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah';--but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not." (4:157, Yusif Ali)

The execution and burial of Jesus Christ is a fact that is supported by any credible and intelligible historian. The fact that the Quran denies this simple certainty proves its erroneous nature.

The Bible states, " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Bible verifies the historical truth of the crucifixion of Christ in Matthew 27:32-56. Jesus Christ, through an act of love, willingly gave Himself up to be put to death, bearing the sins of the world and suffering in our place. The resurrection of Jesus Christ confirms that He is who He said He was, the Son of God. Those who believe on Him and the truth of the resurrection will be saved.

Allah Commands Violence Against the Infidel and Forced Conversion or Death

There are many Quranic scriptures that condone and command violent and unthinkable acts against the infidels. To point out a few:
"Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter." - 2:191
"Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme" - 8:39

If the infidel does not convert, it is permissible and even honorable to kill, rape, and steal from the infidel. It is acknowledged that not all Muslims follow the violent, extremist rendition of the Islamic faith. However, there are certainly scriptural references that make it easy for extremists to justify the use of terrorism and violent acts against the infidels.

On the contrary, the Bible does not condone violence in spreading the Gospel. The Bible commands us to love our enemies not make war against those who do not convert. The Bible welcomes all to come to Christ of their free will, not by force.

The Bible Teaches Salvation Through Christ Alone

The Holy Bible and the Christian faith teaches that salvation can only be attained through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus says that the only way to the Father is through Himself, the Son. There is no other way to attain salvation but through Christ. Islam does not teach that a mediator is needed.

Mohammed Has the Spirit of the Anti-Christ

The Bible states in 1 John 4:3, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." Any person that claims to be a prophet but denies the truth about Jesus is operating under the spirit of the antichrist according to 1 John. Mohammed is the prophet and considered a messenger of Allah by the people of the Muslim faith. This is a fundamental difference that cannot be ignored. According to the Christian faith and the God of the Bible, Mohammed is a false prophet and does not bear witness to the truth of God.

The reasons stated above are only few of many that prove that Allah and the God of the Bible are not the same. It is evident that the Christians and Muslims do NOT serve the same God. If they did, that would be a total contradiction and God is not the author of confusion nor is He a liar. There are enormous doctrinal differences in the two faiths and to suggest that we serve the same God is dangerously misleading and false.

A political science professor at Wheaton college, Larycia Hawkins, has been placed on administrative leave from the Christian college. Ms. Hawkins decided to make a bold statement by wearing a hijab (traditional head covering worn by women of the Muslim faith) to the college as a sign of solidarity. But this is not the cause of the disciplinary action that was taken by the college. According to Wheaton college, Ms. Hawkins was placed on leave due to her comments posted on Facebook stating that Christians and Muslims serve the same God.

The statement has sparked debate throughout the college campus with some students standing in support of Ms. Hawkins and others standing in support of the college's decision to take disciplinary action. The decision to wear a hijab in support of the Muslim community may be questionable. But to suggest that the God we serve as Christians is the same god of the Muslims is a rather enraging and false statement.

Wheaton college released a statement that reads in part, "“As they participate in various causes, it is essential that faculty and staff engage in and speak about public issues in ways that faithfully represent the college’s evangelical Statement of Faith.” Many Christian students at Wheaton feel that it is necessary to speak out against such a false statement as they do not want to be associated with the god of the Muslim faith.

How do you feel about this story? Do you, as a Christian, feel that we share the same God as the Muslims? Click here for 5 Reasons Christians and Muslims Do NOT Serve the Same God.

3 Ways ISIS is Helping the Globalist Agenda

3 Ways ISIS is Helping the Globalist Agenda

By: Zealous Saints

ISIS, the Islamic militant group that has been spreading terror across the globe, has grown exponentially over a short period of time. The terrorist group utilizes unique tactics and propaganda spread through the internet to recruit impressionable Muslim radicals to join their fight in spreading the Islamic state and ultimately subduing Western civilization. However, let's not forget that we have another enemy lurking with a mission that is just as deviant but less blatant.

Noticeably, there is an agenda that is being pushed by the establishment to lead the United States of America and the rest of the world into a one world government or new world order. This new world order (NWO) was prophesied in the Bible. Daniel 7:23 states, "Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon Earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole Earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces." The Book of Revelation and other prophetic scriptures provides further insight into this fourth beast kingdom (Revelation 13:16-18).

Where does ISIS fit into the globalist agenda? In order to bring the NWO into fruition, the establishment uses trauma-based events, political agendas, pop-cultural influences, economic trends, and just about any tactic to cause a series of domino effects that seem to be pointing directly to the rise of the NWO or fourth beast kingdom prophesied in Daniel and the Book of Revelation. Now, with Islamic terrorism on the forefront, there is no doubt that this is being used to support the globalist agenda. Here are 3 Ways ISIS actually benefits the globalists' goal of establishing a one world government:

1. Order Out of Chaos

"Out of chaos comes order" - Friedrich Nietzsche
You may have heard people refer to the establishment as the Illuminati or the elite. Whatever name or term that is dubbed, it all refers to a secretively powerful and small group of leaders conspiring, whether knowingly or unknowingly, to establish a NWO, a satanic kingdom that seeks to defy God. This satanic kingdom will ultimately be defeated by Jesus Christ.

In order to bring about this kingdom, this "order out of chaos" tactic is used. Essentially, a series of manufactured or conveniently positioned crisis are used to create chaos. And what better way to describe the current happenings in the world today but as chaos. Violent extremism is spreading in the middle east and trickling into other parts of the world. ISIS creates the disorder needed to justify the need for the U.S. and other countries to come together to establish their idea of "order." Ultimately, this order will involve decreased rights and privacy for civilians and increased militarization and gun control.

2. Induce Fear and Panic

Widespread fear and panic is induced in the hearts of many across the globe as we hear more horrific stories of gunman unexpectedly opening fire or planting bombs to kill innocent people. People are mourning the loss of loved ones and they are uncertain of their safety as they go to common places such as schools, holiday parties, soccer games, restaurants, concerts, etc. As violence increases due to the spread of ISIS influence, people will undoubtedly seek refuge in a false savior or the anti-christ. This gives the perfect opportunity for the government to offer a false sense of salvation and world peace. The public will be desperate for world peace in these troubling times, which likely means they will be willing to comply with the demands and even relinquish rights if it means world peace.

The establishment will rely heavily on the push for "world peace" in order to unite the religions, monetary systems, and governments. This will be a false sense of peace as the Bible states in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." Mass fear and panic leads to widespread acceptance of this fabricated world peace.

3. Increased Control Over the Public

Almost immediately after any tragic display of mass gun violence, President Barack Obama comes out to make a statement pushing the need for more gun control. Whether or not everyone should have guns or no one should have guns is up for debate. However, one thing is certain and that is, the NWO heavily depends upon disarming the public in order to obtain the desired level of control. Increased gun violence by lone wolves influenced by ISIS is certainly being used to the advantage of this agenda by attempting to justify the need for heavy gun control. In addition to gun control, the privacy of individuals is at risk. It is difficult for the U.S. government to predict the radicalization of an individual and foresee violent acts. For this reason, the government may use this as a justifiable reason to heavily monitor its citizens, particularly online activity.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming year as ISIS continues to grow and recruit. It is unknown as to whether ISIS will be an integral part in bringing about the NWO or if the militant group will be obsolete after a few years. But is is certain that the elite is using this crisis for their benefit. It is important during these times not only pray without ceasing, but also to be very watchful, vigilant, and aware of the times that we are living in. Our hope is in Jesus Christ and, remember, that we have nothing to fear for our redemption draws near! Never cease in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ!

War on Christianity Intensified in the Wake of Islamic Terrorism

War on Christianity Intensified in the Wake of Islamic Terrorism

By: Zealous Saints

All eyes are on Islam right now as the world grapples with the steadily rising and increased threat of terrorism. In the aftermath of the Paris terror attacks that occurred on November 13, 2015 and the San Bernardino shooting that occurred on December 2, 2015, we have seen an overwhelming amount of support and defense of Islam. Ironically, it is not the Muslim religion and ideology that is coming under heavy scrutiny. Rather, it is the Christians who are being scapegoated, bearing the sins of Islam in the wake of these tragic events. Over the past few weeks, there has been noticeable backlash and critique of Christianity as people attempt to equate it to the violent extremism of radical Islam. We know that Christian persecution is on the rise and inevitable. This persecution, at the moment, comes in the form of religious intolerance and social discrimination. Islam hates Western culture and Christianity and seeks to destroy both. The following are examples of the ever increasing war on Christianity:

Daily News mocks God in December 3, 2015 cover

Embedded image permalink

Daily News criticizes people, particularly politicians and political candidates, for offering their "thoughts and prayers". The news outlet's bold proclamation that "God Isn't Fixing This," is an attempt to undermine people of faith and the power of prayer to seek consolation in these times of need. The front page cover is supposedly meant to draw the public's attention to the need for more gun control and motivate the politicians to action. Though it is understandable that more action needs to be taken to control gun accessibility to criminals and the threat of terrorism, I am easily convinced that the statement on the front cover is meant to shake fists in the face of God and publicly shame anyone who prays to Him.

The Vilification of a San Bernardino Shooting Victim

In an appalling article for the Daily News, Linda Stasi draws similarities between Syed Farook, one of two radicals that carried out the San Bernardino terror attack, and Nicholas Thalasinos, an innocent victim who was murdered by Farook. Stasi calls Thalasinos, a born again Christian/Messianic Jew, a "hate-filled bigot". Stasi vehemently criticizes deceased Thalasinos for his adamant opinions and views against the government, opposition to Planned Parenthood, and pro-NRA stance, views that Thalasinos was well-entitled to. Unlike Farook, Thalasinos' views did not motivate him to carry out a mass shooting on innocent people attending a holiday party. Here we have another example of this nonsensical scapegoating of Christianity. Here we have a radical Muslim who murdered an innocent Christian man and, yet, the Christian man is the one being harshly criticized and defamed.

The Fallacious Comparisons of Violent Islam to Biblical Passages

The following video was created to equate biblical passages seen as violent to the extremism of Islam. The subsequent video was uploaded to YouTube by FaceLikeTheSun and adequately refutes this video. Again, there seems to be widespread focus on discrediting Christianity during this time of persecution headed by Islamic extremists.

Facebook and YouTube Censorship of Christian Truthers and Anti-Islamic Posts

Many Christian truthers and conspiracy analysts are experiencing increased censorship on Facebook and YouTube. Conservative-Headlines.com posted the article, Facebook to begin formal policy of criticism of Islam. YouTube has also upped the censorship and banning of material seeking to expose the truth behind the lies imposed by the mainstream media. There is an apparent goal to use these occurrences of violence to increase gun control and ultimately push the globalists agenda toward a one world government and anyone who attempts to expose these truths are slowly being silenced.

These are only a few examples of the increased war on Christianity. If you are a Muslim, the world will seemingly stand in your defense in a heartbeat, even in the face of increased Islamic terrorism. But if you are are a Christian, you are constantly defending yourself against accusations of bigotry and fascism. Even in all this chaos, our hope never fades as we know these are just signs of a fast approaching deliverance from this fallen world. As we look at the world around us, the following verse rings true and loud, "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved" -Matthew 10:22.
